EBA joined the Supervisory Board meeting of the Swiss-Ukrainian QFTP programme

  Tetiana Shyrochenko, Committees Manager at the European Business Association, took part in the Supervisory Board meeting of the Swiss-Ukrainian programme “Higher Value Added Trade from the Organic and Dairy Sectors of Ukraine”(QFTP). During the meeting, the report for the second programme year and the Programme’s activity plan for the next year, running until 1 July 2026, were approved. Marko Kräuchi, Programme Manager at the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), expressed admiration for the resilience of Ukrainian society and business, noting that Switzerland has been supporting the organic sector for almost 20 years and the dairy sector for 10 years, and will continue this support going forward. Taras Vysotskyi, Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine, emphasised the importance of Swiss support for the sustainable development of Ukraine’s organic and dairy sectors, as well as for strengthening the capacity of SMEs on both domestic and international markets. The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine, the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection, as well as NGOs from the organic and dairy sectors and representatives of industry associations. The EBA is grateful to its Swiss colleagues for their support and cooperation in fostering the development of Ukraine’s agricultural sector!
