ЕВА meeting with the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection

  Yesterday, representatives of the European Business Association held a meeting with the leadership of the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection. During the event, a wide range of business-relevant topics was discussed, including: Inspections conducted by the SSUFSCP; Sampling at customs and state control of imported goods, including laboratory testing; Spread of foot-and-mouth disease in Hungary and compliance with the WOAH regulations on notifiable diseases; Import of salads from Spain; Notifications to businesses regarding non-compliance; International certificates from the Netherlands for fish and seafood; Sanitary regulations (DSanPiN) for fish and aquatic living resources; Launch of the exporter’s cabinet in the E-Phyto system; Inspection of elevators for pea exports. Participants also paid special attention to issues concerning dietary supplements, tobacco products, and other key topics relevant to various industries. The European Business Association expresses its gratitude to the Head of the SSUFSCP, Serhii Tkachuk; Acting Head of the Border Control Department, Andrii Talama; Director of the Department of Food Safety and Veterinary Medicine, Ihor Lotskin; First Deputy Head of the SSUFSCP, Oleh Osiyan; and Advisor to the Head of the SSUFSCP, Solomiia Starosolska, for a constructive and stable dialogue that promotes further cooperation.
