She Leads: A Corporate Program for Women” – online meeting of the EBA ESG Hub

  On 17 June, the European Business Associations ESG Hub held an online meeting dedicated to the topic of women’s leadership as a driving force in business. The event, titled She Leads: A Corporate Program for Women, brought together members of the business community for an interactive discussion on the opportunities for advancing women’s leadership in Ukraine. The session was moderated by Yuliia Tiroshko, Sustainability Manager at Bayer Ukraine. Guest speakers Yuliia Malich and Alesya Stokovska, co-founders of the women’s leadership program Prosebe, shared insights on gender equality in the workplace and the impact of current socio-economic conditions on women’s career development. During the event, participants explored how building a leadership pipeline influences company performance, and what strategies help overcome barriers and foster leadership competencies among women. Attendees actively engaged in the discussion, addressing key challenges women face in business — including societal biases and organisational barriers that hinder career advancement. The event also featured a presentation of the She Leads programme — a comprehensive initiative aimed at developing women’s leadership potential. Through practical business projects, the programme seeks to support talent retention, increase the number of women in leadership roles, and boost overall company productivity.
