A meeting of the Finance and Tax Committee was held with the participation of Crowe Mikhailenko experts and representatives of the Main Department of the State Tax Service in Kharkiv region. The agenda included current tax issues, cases and legislative changes that directly affect business. Speakers Iryna Tretiak, certified auditor, partner at Crowe Mikhailenko, head of internal taxation practice, financial monitoring specialist, and Dmytro Mykhailenko, managing partner, president of the Association of Tax Advisors, revealed a number of crucial issues for business. Oleksandra Volobuieva, Head of the Information Interaction Department of the State Tax Service in Kharkiv Region, introduced the participants to the work of the newly established Office of Tax Advisors. Its activities are aimed at supporting taxpayers and developing partnerships between business and government. In just the first month of operation, the Office has already provided about 200 consultations!
