Attorneys Association Gestors advised on Ukrainian labour law matters in acquisition of Speedperform by Likewize – a global leader in device protection and tech support. At the request of Danish law firm Gorrissen Federspiel, advising Likewize, Gestors conducted due diligence on specific Ukrainian labour law matters in connection with the acquisition and advised on potential risks of reclassifying contractual relationships between a Ukrainian private entrepreneur and the foreign acquirer as de facto employment. This matter is yet another example of Gestors’ involvement in complex international M&A transactions between foreign tech companies, where deep expertise in employment law and a strong understanding of the local legal landscape are essential.
