EBA Odesa HR HUB “Digital HR Ecosystem: How Technology Creates a New Culture of People Management”

30/ 10/ 2025
On October 30, the EBA Odesa HR HUB held its regular meeting, dedicated to the role of technology in shaping modern people management systems. The discussion focused on how digital solutions help HR professionals build a holistic ecosystem that combines business process efficiency, team development, and a new culture of collaboration within companies.  The event was moderated by Nadiia Savchenko, Head of the EBA Odesa HR HUB and CEO of HR Agency Key People, with Oksana Furman, HRD at MTB Bank, HR expert in transformation and team development, as the speaker. With over 18 years of HR experience in retail, distribution, manufacturing, and the financial sector, Oksana is also a lecturer in strategic HR, a speaker, and a volunteer in employment programs.  During the meeting, participants discussed how automation transforms the HR role — from an operational function to a strategic business partner. The conversation covered the implementation of analytical systems, performance management tools, and digital platforms for communication, learning, and employee development. Such solutions not only optimize processes but also help foster a culture of trust, openness, and collaboration.  Oksana Furman emphasized that HR digitalization is not just about technology, but above all about people and the culture of change. “Tools alone do not make a system effective. It is people who understand the strategic purpose of transformation, are ready to develop, and open to new formats of interaction that make it work,” she noted.  Key topics included: Transition from manual processes to an integrated HR system Launching digital transformation without chaos or overspending The role of analytics in managerial decision-making Strengthening the HR brand and attracting a new generation of employees  The event was held in the format of a professional discussion, during which participants shared practical cases of company digitalization, data security challenges, employee adaptation to new systems, and the search for balance between automation and humanity in management. The meeting became a valuable platform for exchanging experiences and modern approaches to people management.  We thank our speakers and participants for their active engagement and discussion! The Southern Ukrainian Office of the European Business Association will continue the EBA Odesa HR HUB series, focusing on current HR development issues, corporate culture, and human capital in modern business.
