The infographic research “Energy Shift”

  The visual communications agency Top Lead, in partnership with Raiffeisen Bank and with the support of Forbes BrandVoice, has released a research exploring how Ukrainian businesses are adapting to new energy realities and transforming the country’s energy system. A large-scale survey on how businesses are becoming energy-efficient and independent  212 companies shared their insights on how power outages affected their operations, what measures they took to strengthen energy independence and their outcomes, as well as their future plans and more. Key figures from the survey: 95% of Ukrainian companies are strengthening their energy independence and efficiency. 44% began their transformation even before the full-scale war. 59% of companies have installed their own power generation facilities. Among them, 89% use solar panels or power plants. 12% of companies in the IT and telecom industries have installed wind turbines. 68% of companies have reduced their energy costs. Top measures that helped achieve this: own generation facilities, energy-efficient equipment, and modernization of production processes. What else is in the study? Ukraine’s energy system has suffered over 600 attacks since the start of the full-scale war. The share of renewable energy in electricity generation increased to 11% in 2024, compared to 1% in 2015.
