Yevhen Riyako, CEO of Riyako&Partners, appointed First Deputy Chair of the Business Protection Committee at the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine

On October 8, during an extended meeting of the Board of Directors of the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine (CBU), a new body was established — the Committee for Interaction with Law Enforcement Agencies. The construction sector is among the industries most frequently exposed to inspections and pressure from law enforcement authorities, particularly in the context of public procurement. The newly formed committee is expected to serve as a platform for structured dialogue between businesses and the state, and for developing solutions to reduce legal risks for developers. Yevhen Riyako, CEO of the law firm Riyako&Partners, was elected as the First Deputy Chair of the Committee. In his new role, he will contribute to the development of legal protection mechanisms for market participants and to the establishment of a safer and more predictable environment for the industry’s growth.
