ARZINGER successfully defended the interests of OLAM UKRAINE in a multi-million tax dispute

ARZINGER’s Tax and Customs Litigation practice has successfully concluded a long-standing dispute in favour of OLAM UKRAINE, the Ukrainian subsidiary of OLAM Agri, one of the leading international agri-food holdings headquartered in Singapore. OLAM Ukraine is one of the largest grain exporters in Ukraine. The dispute lasted about four years and concerned the issue of budgetary reimbursement of VAT to the client in the amount of millions of hryvnias. Thanks to a comprehensive legal position and consistent defence of the client, the ARZINGER team managed to prove the legitimacy of the clients claims and obtain positive decisions from the courts of first and appellate instances. The project was handled by a team consisting of associates Iryna Rokishchuk, Illia Menchak, and paralegal Dmytro Vinichenko. The project was managed by partner and attorney-at-law Nikita Larionov.
