EBA Dnipro Best Business Practices: Biopharma

04/ 09/ 2025
Last week, our business community visited the modern donor center Dnipro Plasma as part of the Best Business Practices project. We were warmly welcomed and had a real tour of the world of donation. We learned a lot about blood and lymph, their role in saving lives, the history of scientific discoveries, namely the invention of blood types and the Rhesus factor. In addition, everyone who wanted had the opportunity to find out their own blood type on the spot. Then we had an informative tour of the center. We got acquainted with all the stages of the donor journey: from the moment of plasma collection to its further processing. The participants were even able to go down to special refrigerators where plasma is stored in shock freezing mode until future transportation and production of vital medicines. This meeting was a reminder to us that donation is not just a technology, but also a real mission that saves hundreds of lives every day. At the end of the event, donor tea with cookies was waiting for us😊 Over a cup of warm drink, we had the opportunity to hear about interesting charitable partnerships of the Dnipro Plasma center with Ukrainian businesses. So once again, we were convinced that social responsibility and business cooperation can be inextricably linked, helping where it is needed most.
