EBA Odesa HR HUB “Ask HR about interview secrets or how to attract talent”

  In the conditions of war, businesses face acute challenges, such as mobilization of employees, loss of personnel, psychological support of employees and the need to reorganize work processes, from which an important problem arises - the selection of new employees. That is why the next EBA Odesa HR HUB Ask HR about interview secrets, or how to attract talent was held on October 16, 2024, to find out the main secrets of a successful interview. Speakers were Nadiya Savchenko, founder of the HR HUB Key People agency and Sofiya Banova - Corporate Compliance, HR MSC Ukraine Limited Liability Company. They paid attention to the most important aspects that help make the recruiting process more effective and efficient, the main attention was paid to the following issues: Setting tasks before the interview: shared experience about how important it is to clearly define the purpose of each interview. Determining the key competencies and professional qualities of candidates helps to focus the conversation and make the selection targeted and effective. As the participants noted, this significantly increases the chances of finding the right specialist for the company. Modern candidate assessment tools: introduced the latest candidate assessment tools, including the use of psychological tests, online platforms for assessing soft skills, and artificial intelligence-based technologies. These methods help to more accurately determine the candidates suitability for the position. Techniques for obtaining truthful information: discussed how to avoid manipulation during interviews and get honest answers from candidates. Methods of in-depth interview and analysis of non-verbal communication were presented, which help to reveal the true competencies and experience of applicants. How to avoid wrong decisions: One of the most urgent questions of the meeting is how not to choose a candidate who only presents himself well, but will not be able to perform his duties effectively The participants were satisfied with the opportunity to share experiences and useful advice on improving the recruitment process. Thanks to this event, many HR professionals received new tools that will help them to attract talented employees even better and make the right personnel decisions.
