Lobbying Talks with Arseniy Yatsenyuk — an open conversation on the role of business in public policy.

The European Business Association, together with DTEK and the Ukrainian Corporate Governance Academy, held another event in the Lobbying Talks series, focused on lobbying practices, business–government interaction, and the challenges shaping political decision-making today.

The guest of the event was Arseniy Yatsenyuk, Prime Minister of Ukraine (2014–2016) and Chairman of the Kyiv Security Forum.

In a discussion moderated by Serhii Kovalenko, CEO of D.Solutions (brand YASNO), participants explored:

• how lobbying practices have evolved in Ukraine and globally;
• how security challenges influence public policy and business engagement;
• why transparent advocacy is critical to strengthening democratic institutions;
• how business and government can build more effective cooperation for Ukraine’s recovery and its Euro-Atlantic integration.

The meeting took place in the format of an open and honest dialogue, featuring insightful questions, strategic takeaways, and a clear understanding that today the role of business in politics goes far beyond economics alone.
