PJSC “Ukrnafta” is the largest oil-producing company in Ukraine.

The company’s shareholders are Naftogaz of Ukraine NJSC and the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

The Acting Chairman of the Board of PJSC “Ukrnafta” is Yurii Tkachuk.

Ukrnafta extracts oil and natural gas in eight regions of Ukraine: Sumy, Poltava, Chernihiv, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kharkiv.

The state-owned company employs over 20,000 people.

Ukrnafta operates the largest national network of filling stations — UKRNAFTA. The network includes 663 filling stations across almost all regions of Ukraine.

In March 2024, after signing transfer acts with the Asset Recovery and Management Agency, Ukrnafta took over management of the Glusco network. After rebranding, 85 filling stations began operating under the UKRNAFTA brand.

In 2025, Ukrnafta completed a deal to acquire 51% of shares in Alliance Holding LLC (which operates the Shell-branded network in Ukraine) from Shell Overseas Investments BV. After rebranding, all 118 filling stations of this network will operate under the UKRNAFTA brand.

Over nearly three years of state management, the UKRNAFTA filling station network has undergone a large-scale transformation. In 2022, only a few dozen stations had convenience stores, while by 2025, around 400 full-format markets were in operation. The remaining stations have retail outlets offering a basic range of goods. Moreover, 360 UKRNAFTA stations function as “Points of Invincibility” — equipped with additional generators, allowing customers to charge their devices, warm up, enjoy hot coffee or tea, and have a snack during emergencies.

The UKRNAFTA mobile app, launched in December 2023, quickly gained popularity among customers. As of September 2025, it already has over 1.5 million users.

Since 2023, PJSC “Ukrnafta” has demonstrated profitable operations, contributing significantly to Ukraine’s state budget.

From the moment the company came under state management in 2022, Ukrnafta has paid a total of UAH 75.8 billion in taxes, fees, and customs payments, as well as UAH 15.3 billion in dividends (as of October 2025).

Alongside business development, the company actively supports the Defense Forces of Ukraine — since 2023, its charitable contributions have exceeded UAH 3 billion.

Ukrnafta runs a comprehensive rehabilitation and support program for service members and veterans — “Shoulder to Shoulder”. The program assists employees who are serving, those returning from service, and the families of fallen defenders.

Since the beginning of the war in 2014, 578 Ukrnafta veterans have returned from military service. Sadly, 55 colleagues have been killed in action. As of September 2025, 892 Ukrnafta employees are mobilized and serving in the Defense Forces. The company retains their jobs and salaries during their service.
